New Rhythm for Crypto: the Virtual Currency Girls

post image

The popularity of cryptocurrency in the Land of the Rising Sun is gaining momentum. A new musical band called «Virtual Currency Girls» has appeared in Japan. They sing about the events of the crypto-world. Also, their aim is to give advice to the crypto traders in its songs.

We want to promote the idea through entertainment that virtual currencies are not just a tool for speculation but are a wonderful technology that will shape the future.

The band has already had their fans. Japan is one of those countries whose authorities are loyal to the introduction of the digital economy. The government of the country managed to create a flourishing atmosphere for cryptocurrencies.

The unit’s original lineup consists of eight members, each based on a different type of virtual currency. In descending order of the pictures below, the members and their virtual currency idol personas are:

  1. 18-year-old Rara Naruse, Bitcoin Cash (BCH)
  2. 16-year-old Hinano Shirahama, Bitcoin (BTC)
  3. Age-unreleased Ami Amo, Ethereum (ETH)
  4. 22-year-old Suzuka Minami, NEO (NEO)
  5. Age-unreleased Momo Aisu, MonaCoin (MONA)
  6. 17-year-old Kanako Matsuzawa, Cardano (ADA)
  7. 17-year-old Koharu Kamikawa, NEM (XEM)
  8. 15-year-old Hinata Kozuki, Ripple (XRP)

According to the head of the group, 19-year-old Rara Naruse, they hope to shed light on the alleged use of cryptocurrency.

This unit is not here to stimulate speculation or investment. Of the numerous existing virtual currencies, we have carefully selected several currencies that will undoubtedly exist in the future, in order to broaden public understanding through entertainment as our environment.

- Rara Narus, who represents bitcoin cash in the group, said in an online statement.

Payment for the Virtual Currency Girls debut concert Friday (Jan. 12) in Tokyo will only be accepted via cryptocurrencies, according to the band’s official site .

The group’s first song, “The Moon and Virtual Currencies and Me,” appears to take its inspiration from the warnings issued by various regulators in recent weeks—it’s a lecture on online security and watching out for fraudulent crypto businesses.

Well, I bet it's not the last music band, that perform about cryptos.
