Petro Oro - Another Venezuela's National Currency

post image

President of Venezuela Nicholas Maduro announced the release of the second domestic cryptocurrency of the country - Petro Oro. The local channel Globovision reports this. I do not want to get ahead of the events, but we have a surprise regarding Petro (oil) and gold, which will have the same scale as in the case of oil. But this is the theme of the next week.

Also yesterday it became known that Venezuela decided to change the block, which will be issued national currency El Petro. Presumably, instead of Ethereum, NEM will be used. Here is what Nicholas Maduro wrote about this on his twitter account:

We have signed two fundamental agreements for El Petro, which will be distributed on the most advanced platforms in the world, thanks to the companies Zeus and NEM.
