The EXMO was under a DDos Attack

Currency Exchange EXMO reported on Twitter that it had undergone a distributed-denial-of-service (DDoS) attack.

Representatives of the exchange promise that soon the work of the platform will be resumed.

Exmo spokesman Anatoliy Larin told the BBC that :

Exmo is doing everything possible to speed up the search for Lerner, the exchange is working as usual, and that all users’ funds are entirely safe because Lerner doesn’t assume access either to storages or any personal data of users.

Recall that yesterday it became known about the kidnapping of the leading analyst of EXMO LLP Paul Lerner. It happened on December 26. At present, the police conduct investigative actions and work out possible versions of what happened. There are opinions that Pavel's abduction is related to his professional activities.

The EXMO exchange is one of the largest trading platforms with trading pairs with a ruble. The number of users of the service exceeds 900 thousand.

On December 20 EXMO was recognized as the best cryptocurrency platform of 2017 according to BTC Awards 2017 CIS.
