The Coinbase Exchange has announced the appointment of former vice president of operations and customer service for Twitter, Tina Bhatnagar, to a similar position - vice president of operations and technology at Coinbase.
It’s an exciting time, with Coinbase and crypto in the public eye more than ever before, but that also means it’s an even more critical moment to stake our position,” said Bhatnagar. “And this can only happen if we do right by our customers every single day.
The new top-manager is going to double the support team and provide 24-hour assistance to all clients of the crypto-exchange office from the second quarter of this year. Bhatnagar called her appointment "a rare opportunity to join the demonstrating extraordinary growth of the company and influence it."
Recall that in 2017, the Coinbase team doubled - up to 200 employees, and in mid-December in its board of directors entered the vice-president of Facebook, responsible for messaging, David Marcus.
In the opinion of Asiff Hirji, President and Director of Operations of the crypto-exchange, who took up this post on December 1, in the future, she can become an open joint-stock company. The total amount invested in Coinbase investment is $ 217 million, while the exchange was supported by investments by Union Square Ventures, USAA, New York Stock Exchange, and other companies.
